All of the above are examples of independent movie posters. I thought that finding the conventions of these movie posters would be more suitable as our film is going to be shot like an independent film. All of the above posters aren't very intricate with the exception of the Donkeypunch which shows two of the main environments from the movie. London to Brighton's movie poster includes 3 separate stills from the movie. This is done in a very effective way as the viewer of this media text is intrigued as to how these moments in the film have come about for example the shot of the girl looking scared would make the audience want to know what the situation at that time.
I personally think that a poster in a similar style to the London to Brighton poster would suit our short film very well. This would allow the audience to see a progression between the protagonist's starting place and the place the film leaves her. It will also give us a chance to show various aspects of her life easily and without too much explanation. Also in a similar way to the London to Brighton poster it may draw the audience in more as they will want to find these moments in the film themselves.
